MOJOFICTION DECONSTRUCTED

My real name is Jeremy Engelbrecht. MojoFiction is just a pen name. I originally just wanted to write humor, so I devised this persona under which to write. It’s served me well, as I continue to write humor. It wasn’t long, though, before I started writing book reviews and a couple of full-length novels. Because the novels were mostly humorous (I think), I kept them under the MojoFiction moniker. I hope you’re not too confused by some of the different writing styles on this site. My  novels are normal, honest!

Anyway, I currently in the Chicagoland area, though I long to get back to my home state of Colorado. One day! I am an avid lover of the outdoors, I believe in the importance of family, sometimes I watch cartoons, and I spare no expense in an effort to be funny (no matter how many times I might crash and burn). With this blog I do what most people do, share my views on family, entertainment, humor, or whatever.

I figure if you laugh even a little bit while reading this site, I’ve done my work. Not the book reviews, though. Those aren’t supposed to be hilarious.
